If you’re selling your property to me, you can leave anything you want behind, but that will get factored into the price I provide you.
Do you want to know how much cash your house is worth today?
What can you leave inside the property you sell to me?
You can leave whatever you want behind—it all gets factored into the price I provide you when I purchase the property. I’ve had clients who prefer to clean out their house and leave it vacant and clients who prefer not to deal with the hassle of dealing with the contents of their property.
Sometimes, properties are so overloaded with debris that it’s too overwhelming to think of cleaning it out. If you find yourself in this situation, I would be happy to take on that task for you. That arrangement would be factored into the offer, but it’s not a substantial difference. Even in homes left in the worst kind of condition, the difference is only $2,000 or $3,000. Who knows? The level of stress you wouldn’t have to deal with might be worth the reduced price you receive.
Sometimes, people want to remove certain contents from the property because they have an emotional connection to them. They also may want to remove certain things that are unrelated to the property because other people may want them.
Regardless, all of this would be taken care of prior to the closing. We will take any house in any condition with any content—we just need to know in advance what it is you want to remove.
If you have any questions about how we can purchase your property or you have any other real estate topics you’d like to discuss, give me a call or shoot me an email. I’d be happy to speak with you.
